Looking for ideas to 'hide' an Xbox One / Kinect

I plan to use a second Xbox One and Kinect in living room exclusively for music. I would like to hide as much of the equipment as possible and have only a small display to show what music/video is being played. I will use small mobile devices with SmartGlass
as additional remotes and/or music sources. I currently do not have a TV in my living room by choice and would like to minimize the visual footprint of the Xbox. Any ideas appreciated.

Delete a game from achievement history

Hey XTR, sadly there is not a way to hide you gamerscore since they are synced to your Gamertag. However, there is a hide feature, Hiding Games with No Achievements on Xbox One

I also want to assure you that no one in the Xbox community will judge you for your gamerscore or percentage completion of any games. There is a multitude of reasons why one may not complete all the achievements in a game from server shutdowns or difficulty.

With the limited functionality of Xbox one for music, why are you using that? Seems expensive to spend 500 on a music player. Get an iPod? If you must use it, there is not much you can do to enclose it. It's am electronic that needs to breathe. Not sure
how much I can help outside that.

 

You would definitely benefit from buying something at a lower price that is dedicated to your needs. If you want to spend a lot of money, something like a SONOS system combined with a high capacity iPod or a smartphone with Spotify Premium would be much
better for you and you'd be much more flexible with much better sound quality.

 

If the primary function is voice control Cortana or Siri work well as well. If you must use Xbox One for it, then it would be more logical to apply a Sonia system. But honestly, you really should use it for something else also.

If you like, you could rig up the Kinect to do facial recognition and voice control, have a small TV to show what's on, and put the Xbox One in a cubby with only the disc tray showing. Leave the top open on the side without the tray and on each side so it
can breathe.

 

Ah the Xbox One - skilled at everything, but a master of none.

 

Like previously stated, you would be better of getting an iPod for music as it will do the job and will be much easier to 'hide' than I large box that needs to breathe.
