Looking for help with a seemingly unique problem

Hello all,

I recently posted something similar here and one user was kind enough to help me with some troubleshooting, but the problem seems to persist. If you have a few minutes to read through and maybe help asses what the problem is, I’d appreciate it.

So for a while now I’ve been having problems with my Xbox not playing games. I downloaded Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order recently, and have been having a lot of problems with it along with a few other games.

Sometimes it will display the splash screen and get stuck there, then quit to home screen.

Other times it will get to the main start page of the game and get stuck there, then quit to home screen.

Most often, it will allow me to load the game and will start to transition into loading my saved file, but will display a plain white screen with the main menu music indefinitely.

Less often than that it will load the game, allow me to play for about fifteen minutes and then randomly “freeze” and quit to the home screen.

So far, the things I’ve tried are:

Soft factory reset of Xbox

Deleting player profile

Deleting saved file in-game

Uninstall/reinstall game to hard drive

Install game to external hard drive

Uninstall/reinstall game to external hard drive

...

The only thing that makes sense to me is I somehow downloaded a corrupt version of the game from the Xbox marketplace, but can’t see how that’s a possibility, which leads me to think my Xbox is corrupt somehow. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
