Looking for Group feature Crashes App

I have an MSI GT80S-6QE laptop.

3 days ago the Xbox app "Looking for group" feature (a feature that I had previously used every day for months) stopped working. It brings up no search results then 10 seconds later the app closes/crashes. Upon re-opening, my friends list is unavailable
for 2-3 minutes.

I have tried everything. Xbox support lines/online chat, windows 10 support lines/ online chat. Clueless.

Updates,

uninstalling/ reinstalling

clearing system cache

different profile

Nothing works.

I eventually resorted to a full factory reset of my laptop, removing 1.5Tb of CAD software and games. A complete restart. Guess what? Still doesn't work, same thing again, "Looking for group" returns no results and crashes the app after 10 seconds, then
when I re-open it I can't see my Xbox live friends.

HELP PLEASE, there is NOTHING on the internet about this and it very much seems like I am literally the only person on the planet that this is happening to.

Windows 10 Update and Xbox App

Looking for group doesn't work anymore. App crashes periodically. Problems occur after the latest windows update.

 

XBox app crash

In the XBox app (on Android), under the Looking for Group page, when I try to find a Club via a Tag name for Forza Horizon 3, click on the Textbox control (for the keyboard to pop up to enter a Tag name), the app crashes every time.
Entering a Tag name for Forza Horizon 2 & 1 works fine.

 

Same issue is happening to me (if that makes you not feel crazy)

 

A reformat won't help. This is likely server sided on their end. I know because I went to the xbox app on my other windows 10 pc I never use and they still wouldn't load.

To clarify the solutions you’ve performed, may we know if you’ve installed the updates for your Windows 10 computer or for the Xbox app?

The troubleshooter doesn't do anything. I have this issue on 3 completely different Windows 10 computers, all are running the latest version of the Xbox App.

Looking for Group for example, works on the Xbox One and on the Mobile App (Android). If i get an invite through one of those it shows up properly in the windows app, however the windows app will never show any LFG data on its own.
