I have an email address but don't know the person's gamertag. is there a way to search for it?

[/quote] Hmm, I didn't know that, I suppose a better place to search then would be by selecting Friends on the Social tab and typing ideas in the Find by Gamertag Search bar maybe?

Hi,

There is no option to that but you still can send an email to the person asking the Gamertag which you can add as friend.

 

There is also an option to add your name on the console now so you can find people easier. If you know his name try searching for that.
