Looking for game recommendations

'm looking for some game recommendations. I loved Mass Effect and I'm trying to find something similar. I really enjoyed the character aspects of it, the dialogue Ichoices, decision-making, etc. I played on the easiest difficulty levels because I'm not that
good with the combat aspect.

I tried Dragon Age: Origins and the story didn't hook me for whatever reasons. I'm playing Bioshock Infinite right now and I like the story but there isn't much in the way of choices, it's just a straightforward shooter. Can anyone recommend something along
the lines of Mass Effect?

Mrs Azrael's favourite games are:

"Diablo III". Get it already. You can both play at the same time.

"Earth Defense Force: 2017 / 2025" or "Bugs" as it's affectionately known to her. It's amazing local Coop.

"Minecraft". Another one you can spend hours getting lost in if you're not careful.

How about boardgames on XBLA? Carcassonne is AWESOME and you can play two players as well. Or even Ticket to Ride?

L.A. Noire is fun, she might enjoy that. Terrific acting, great ambience and story, a beautiful world. Maybe even Nier, a highly underrated game with one of the best and memorable stories told in a game.

 

Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. Both of them are super cheap!

 

Have you tried TellTale games? You can even play a demo before you purchase.

 

You can get Oblivion for like 10 bucks used at Gamestop. Solid game, with tons to do. It will keep you busy for weeks.

It's hard to think of something that's comparable to Mass Effect's choice system where ultimately it could change the way a game story alters itself as much as Mass Effect does which Dragon Age would have been my first choice but you didn't much care for
that so i'll throw out Kingdom's of Amalur: Reckoning as it's just amazing.

 

Check out "Jason and the Argonauts" on the XBox 360.

The game starts in Argos and looks a bit shaky to start off with, but once you actually set off on your adventures the visuals improve and it's a decent Greek Mythology based adventure that plays in the "Mass Effect" style you enjoy.
