Looking for a New Game to Get Into

I just got the xbox one for christmas and I have call of duty and madden 15. I am looking for a new single player game to dive into. Any suggestions?

far cry 4, dragon age inquisition...pretty much just scroll through a next gen games list and pick out some that tickle your fancy. that's kinda what i'm doing right now with my ps4, plenty of great games from the last year that i'm trying to get a jump
on.

 

I highly recommend Sunset Overdrive, Dragon Age: Inquisition, or Shadow of Mordor. They each fall into a different genre, so do some research, see which you would be interested in the most, & go for it.

You can't go wrong with any of them.

 

If OPie doesn't necessarily want to spend money, be sure to get the game offered in GWG for XB1 -

Dark Dreams Don't Die. It won't be free forever, mind you.

 

Far Cry 4, Sunset Overdrive or Alien: Isolation just to name a few.

 

Dragon Age: Inquisition didn't win Game of the Year for nothin....

 

to be fair pretty much every major gaming website gives its own goty award, so just because geoff keighley says it doesn't make it any more or less "official". it's more or less just an excuse to re-release the game with all the dlc included...and even then
that aspect has lost alot of it's appeal because of "ultimate" editions and whatnot.

dragon age inquisition is a really good game, though...from what very little i've been able to play.

 

Every game suggested sounds solid so I'll say go with Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. Its single player and also can be played Co-Op.

 

Single player I highly recommend The Evil Within.

 

Far Cry 4 & Dragon Age: Inquisition are very good single player games as others have recommended.

 

Some solid suggestions. Wolfenstein is a pretty awesome single player that hasn't been mentioned yet. But Dragon Age for sure if you want something that will last you for awhile.

 

"Murdered Soul Suspect".

It's a game where you solve the mystery of your own death as a ghost.

You can pick this up for very cheap so check it out if you can. It's an entertaining game.

"Ryse: Son Of Rome" is the best looking game released this Gen on ANY platform. You play as a Roman Centurian and kill people who aren't you.

Excellent fun if you love people hitting other people with swords and fun multiplayer too.

"Sleeping Dogs: The Definative Edition" deserves an award for being the only game that does not require an online update after you install it to your HD. You play as undercover cop Wei Chen, infiltrating the Triads. Think "Grand Theft Auto... but fun".
Great story, great humour and the exotic setting give you lots of game to enjoy.

Everything suggested above are great suggestions and these are 3 more to consider.

You'll be hard pressed to go wrong whichever you go for.

 

Dragon Age Inquisition. Far Cry 4. The Evil Within. And Dark Dreams Don't Die. I like the idea of just browsing through and see what you like. It's actually why I got the Evil Within. Didn't think of myself as a horror gamer, but good lawd it's awesome.
