    Looking for a 500GB+ USB flash drive to use with my Xbox 360.


    I would like to find a USB Flash Drive that I can download to all of my Movies and TV purchases from Microsoft on Xbox 360. If anyone knows of a Flash drive that would work to do this and where to purchase it that would be great. Also I've read the flash
    drive needs to be formatted to Microsoft FAT32. I'm also curious that if I download all of my videos and tv shows to the flash drive will I be able to play them off my Xbox360 without Xbox Live?

    Please tell me this is a sick joke

    You need a 16 gb USB flash drive. It MUST have sufficient read speed 15mb/s

    "This initial install will require an Xbox 360 Hard Drive or an external 16GB USB flash drive with at least 8 GB of free space. If using a USB flash drive it must be at least USB 2.0 with a minimum 15mb/s read speed and formatted for Xbox 360 use. A new USB flash drive is recommended to ensure optimum performance. "

    Thank you so very much for posting this up on the Xbox Forums. In regards to transferring game DLC over using a USB drive, I'd like you to take the opportunity to take a look at this

    Xbox 360 storage    .

    It states that you are able to "Store or move up to 16 GB of content with the Xbox 360 USB Flash Drive by SanDisk (preconfigured)."

    Alternatively, You can use other USB flash drives to store up to 2 TB of content. Configure these flash drives as memory units to work with the Xbox 360. To learn how to format a USB flash drive for an Xbox 360 console, see the Xbox
