Looking for a 4K tv to work with Xbox one s

Hi guys need a little help. I'm looking for a 4K tv to work with the xbox one s. Someone recommend me this tv Samsung UN40KU6300 but you can't get it in the UK. So I was wondering if u got it from the US would it work with the xbox as they are NTSC
and we are Pal?

Hdmi cabel that comes with console xbox one s 1tb can it handle 4K UHD-material at 60 hertz?

The HDMI cable that comes with the Xbox One S supports 4K@60Hz.

I've got an Xbox One S as well. I'm using the included cable with my 4K TV, and it all works fine.

The Xbox One S is advertised for 4K output. They'd better include a 4K-compatible cable!

 

Rogers 4K set-top box not working on 4K channels for Xbox One S

Really looking to get a solution for an issue using Live TV. Just bought the Xbox One S, I hooked my Rogers 4K Cable box to the Xbox One S and the Xbox One S goes to my Yamaha RX-A3060 receiver before going to the 4K TV (LG UH8500).

"This is a 4K UHD content that requires a HDCP 2.2 compatible 4K TV for display. Please call us at 1-888-ROGERS1 for more information."

Both the TV and receiver are definitely HDCP 2.2 compliant, it works when I connect the cable box to the receiver to the TV. It's only when I put the rogers box through to the Xbox One S first where it becomes a problem. Is there any way to fix this? Would
definitely defeat the purpose of using it through Xbox One S Live TV if it can't pass through 4K content from the cable box.

 

have a look at the hisense range, brilliant screens for cheap.

 

Iv also heard the lowest tv you have to get to work is a 50" or otherwise it's pointless getting one?

 

that's not true at all, anyone that says that, or the old "4k doesn't make any difference to the naked eye", simply doesn't have a 4k tv or hasn't seen it. the difference is astounding.

 

ill also add, the 58" and 65" k700 models are now HDR10

 

One major issue to look out for is that on a lot of 4K HDR TVs when using HDR the input lag is very high and therefore terrible for gaming, a lot of TVs won't even recognise HDR content in game mode!!

 

I was looking up this tv on amazon and looking at the questions it don't support the xbox one s. I'm also limited to size and can only have up to a 40" tv.

if your buying it for the xbox one s then stay away from that one, the upscaling and HDR wont work.

I've been considering an XB1S and have actually been looking this lunchtime for a solution under 55". I currently use a 28" HD monitor and only sit 4-5 feet from it so a huge screen isn't something I'm interested in.

I think it's pretty safe to say that currently there are next to no options for a TV / monitor under 55" that does both 4K and supports HDR properly through a low latency "mode". As Nocturnal Ox mentioned, there are some that support HDR but not in a gaming
sense.

It seems a bit crazy to me that both Xbox and PS are both about to release HDR consoles when there are almost no options for a screens to use, unless you want a massive screen.

 

here's a Panasonic 4K TV option from Amazon UK... it says HDR support also but I think the Panasonic don't offer HDR via "game mode"

Thanks for that Jag but want it for gaming and it's abit above my price range. I was looking more around the £450 mark.

 

I've personally got my eye on some of the LG models UH770V in my case as they support both HDR "standards": HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Not many TV's do it seems.
