Looking for 3rd shifter friends.

It’s the shifter but I found out it is not compatible with forza horizon 4 now I’m just looking for games that are compatible with the shifter as well as the wheel

Dude you must be shifting pretty darn hard to have the stand wobbling like that... lol... I had the GT2 shifter and now I have the CSR shifter. To me, the CSR shifter is little more precise. Both shifters are loud when shifting from one gear to another

I've been experiencing the same problem as you for almost a month now.

I've deducted that the April update seemed to accidentally turn off shifter functionality for Forza Horizon games.

I've had no problem using my Logitech shifter for Forza Motorsport 6, so I doubt there is an issue with the shifter itself.

I tried to report this issue to Forza Support, but I have received very little communication back.

To whomever operates quality assurance or bug testing, could you please look into this matter?

I had no problem using my shifter with Forza Horizon 4 before the April Xbox update.

Many other people are experiencing this issue thinking something's wrong with their $100+ equipment when this issue only recently started persisting.

Cleaning, reconfiguring, or unplugging anything has done nothing to solve the problem. The shifter works just fine with non Playground developed racing games.

I had the same problem and here is the story/solution.

The PXN V9 is a dual mode wheel (racing wheel and gamepad).

If you connect the shifter it becomes a racing wheel. (The problem is it's not recognized by most games).

If you un-connect the shifter it becomes a gamepad and you can play almost all racing games that support gamepad games with it.

And you can map buttons with the app too.

There is no way to shift from gamepad mode to wheel mode without un-connecting the shifter to my knowledge.

PXN other wheels including the V900 are just recognized as a gamepad, no wheel mode.

The diagram (up) is the one for the V900 who do not use a shifter and is always in gamepad mode.

So by not plugging the shifter it transform the V9 into a V900 and you play in gamepad mode in racing games.
