Long Time Supporters Miss Out on 1000 MyVIP Gems???

I have a major complaint already with the new MyVIP Gems.

For every Achievement Tier you move up, you get a substantial number of gems (500 for Overlord!).

The problem is, anyone who has been a long time Xbox user may already be the top tier (myself included) and is unable to ever get these 1000 gems.

It seems like anyone who put in this much effort over the years to reach 100,000 gamerscore should also receive the prizes for moving up the ranks.

What do you guys think about this? If anyone official from Microsoft sees this, I think this is an almost necessary change and you're currently doing your long time fans a disservice.

Gems conversion deposit?

So I had over 1000 MyVip gems left on my vault that I wasn’t able to redeem before the time ran out because everything was out of stock.

But on the FAQ’s it said they were be converted and deposited into my account automatically after the changeover happened.

But I still haven’t received anything?

I just saw other replies about the same question, and won't even bother to create another one to read the same answer.

I have 5+ years on xbox live and I'm way above the Overlord rank.

Apparently, our reward for being top tier, long time supporters is a shameful "no rewards".
