Long shot...Chess on the X1...

Why are there no Chess games on X1, MP or otherwise. I get that the milleniuls dont get it, but well...it's a bit hard to cheat at chess...jk millenials. It's a smart strategic game...3yrs and no chess...

On useing chess.com to tie your gamertag together

As one of the long time Pros, I have had my share of stories about the past to tell, but as an even longer chess player I have one for the books. You may have heard of the chess master's curse. If you believe in you castle as your castle, and your knight
as your knight, this is why some people win more by not playing. This deep comment upon the chess rank to tie your gamertag name to identify you as a Pro player that can not be understated. I believe Shogi is interesting like that as well. The noble game
aside theres still a story here, but if you wonder why I stand back for a bit that is the answer.



I went several rounds one night, just to dust off the chess set, and After wins against higher ranked players, I lost a single game overall. I consider it a greater victory to lose a game overall and win more for it because of the rank. And although this
did not include my Chess Master gamerscore, I let it stand. Anyway, The imported jade chess set from india, a priceless birthday gift, showed me on what side of the board I was playing. One of my castles cracked in two, on its own. That is sort of like your
tea cup breaking in your hand. So, that being said time for a vacation.

Greetings, Base! To answer your question, Chess Titans is currently unavailable for Windows 7 Home Basic. It will, however come built-in with the versions of Windows featured on the right hand side of this page:windows.microsoft.com/.../Chess-Titans-how-to-play.
The good news is that if you have the opportunity to upgrade, you'll have automatic access to Chess Titans! Hope this helps.

^^^Yeah...that's not how you play chess. It's sorta an old game that perks or pieces to buy are somewhat REDICULOUS. I get your meaning about purchasing content, but in chess, the most you buy is a cool animation or lame skin...

 

Chess would be great. I loved playing in HS. We actually went to the nationals in Chicago in 1995. I was an alternate for my team. We had some really good players. My coach figured we would do great but one of the "main" players did not do so well.
I had won 1st in region in my state and done very well in the state tournament before. But I had my best tournament ever. I ended up helping the team finish in the top 10. I got a second place trophy for my division. Actually almost cracked the top 10
individually but I really boned it up. Was playing a guy rated around 2000. Had his queen and 2 moves to mate. And, well, I got distracted by a chair falling, literally and honestly. And put my queen on the square directly left of my intended position,
you know the touch move and once you remove your hand and stuff at tournaments. Well, lost it to his bishop. I ended up losing since he had the pawn advantage. Still almost won. That would have given me my 5th win for the tournament at the time. I also
had a draw but would have moved to the top table. That would have been awesome. Never will forget that.

I would love to see a Chess game that would allow people to play actual tournaments. That would be cool on the One. I could get into that. My sons love Chess. They have a state championship tournament next weekend. A Chess game could be great practice
for them with others playing. They use an Android app but I still think a game on the One would be great.

 

I would love to see a good Chess game on the One. I haven't played much in years but it would be nice to play again.

 

I would love to see a "classic games" game made by MS themselves - Chess, Checkers, Solitair, Poker, etc. all with customizable and endlessly downloadable options and features.

 

There has been at least one classic game on Xbox 1. Monopoly Plus where the board comes to life. I like to see snakes and ladders. A living Chess board game would be ok too. PS Xbox 1 doesn't turn 3 years old until November 2016, it was released November
2013. There are 36 months in 3 years.

 

"classic games" aside, chess is a a game that can't be cheated, or not without knowing the cheat, that is Universal. I Would prefer to have an MP chess game. Chess is the origin origin of all your games...
