Long forgotten old gamertag

So about 3 and half years ago I made my first Xbox account. Everything was nice until there was a new terms and conditions to agree with. I believe it was on 6th December 2012. That day I turn on my Xbox console and I get a popup about it. There starts a
problem I've always had automatic login so I didn't really need to remember my login details that is until I had to use it for that new terms and conditions. Problem is that since I didn't know my login details (both username and password) I could not agree
to those new terms and conditions. So I've dicided to make another profile but that's different thing. Now on that old profile I've had I believe auto reneval for Xbox Live Gold every month but the debt card that had Xbox Live payment set to has probably expired
during those nearly last 2 years. I've contacted Xbox support countless times to get my old gamertag login details back but all the time they wanted email that was my old gamertag set on which I do not remember so they couldn't apparently help me recover my
login details. Anyway my question is whether or not was that old account still being charged through those nearly 2 years or not (because if so that would be like 150 pounds) or did it automatically go silver when direct debt didn't go through?

Need old Gamertag to Replace my new Gamertag

I do not know how to replace my old gamertag with my new gamertag. I made a new Windows Live ID account because i had forgotten all my old stuff, but I retrieved all my old stuff, But now I just want my old Gamertag. How do I replace the new with the old?

I don't find many gamertags funny at all, but I'm sure some long-forgotten one elicited at least a minor chuckle from me.

 

It should automatically go to silver check your bank just to be sure but after a expired card it shouldn't be able to take a payment.

No and I wouldn't sign it to it anyway because I forgot all login details. Also I can't check that card at bank because that old debt card is long expired and gone and my statement only allows me to view only back to 1 year transaction history..

 

I was gonna say if you still had your old gamertag on your Xbox even if you can't remember the log in details, what would happen is you'd sign in but because you haven't been on it in a while it would ask you to enter some security details and confirm the
email associated with your account is your own, ergo it would show your email address you used with it

 

I think your *** to be honest, can you not remember just part of the email address and get the rest from that.

 

I've lost all hope of retrieving that account anyway. I just want to know if it went silver and if I owe Microsoft any money.

 

It's best to contact support if you remember the name of your old account, support are the only people who can really help now.

 

I lost my original xbox gamer tag from the early halo 2 days but it is gone sadly. I contacted everyone possible and sadly they couldn’t ever find it due to expired credit cards and email addresses not being linked wasted allot of time.
