Hi! I was wondering how to set up my xbox to allow in game audio on my headset.

ive tried everything, updating my controller, reseting my xbox, hard resetting, everything. But nothing seems to work. It came with a separate splicer but the guy at game stop said i didn’t need it and just to “plug it in” to the controller. But it doesn’t
give me ANY in game volume.

when i switch to 7.1 in audio i get an error messages saying no audio found or both settings cant be off,

help please!

In order to get game sound through the headset, you will have to go to the console's audio settings, and set the game audio to be played through the headset as well.

Otherwise only chat sound will be played through the headset.

After setting up sound through the headset, you can also choose to have stereo sound, or Spatial 3D sound through Windows Sonic. Or if you have purchased the Dolby Atmos app (you can try it for free for 14 days), you can also use Dolby Atmos for headphones.

It says that it supports xbox one, have you tried any other audio headset with that controller and does that work ok? do you have access to another controller to see if it works with that?

I just got a logitech headset with a 3.5mm jack, most logitech headset have muffs around ears and a muffler on the end of mic to help prevent echo, plus I can use my headset with PC as well.

Did all that and still having same issue. I wonder if it has to to do with compatibility to my headset. Changing the samplerate of my headset will also cause audio to work. My headset is a Logitech G633. Could it also be logitech software?

I agree me and my friend both have one, I love a lot of logitech devices. I have a logitech headset as well.
