Logitech G920 Racing wheel/Pedals

Thinking of purchasing my first racing wheel. This seemed to be the best one in my price range.

Can anyone here tell me if you own one and if it's a good investment??

Most reviews are pretty good, but some have complained about theirs crapping out after a few months.

I'm guessing they beat up on it too much or didn't do something right.

Just wondering about others experiences with this racing wheel. I don't really need the shifter, so no need to comment on that

part of it. I am specifically using it for Forza horizon 2, 3 and 4, so any comments on that would be appreciated.

Personally, I use the Logitech G920 Steering Wheel + Pedals combo.

It's a great value for the price, which is around $200 for the package.

Oh, and the Logitech G920 steering wheel and pedals work just fine with Need for Speed Payback (Steam). Just not FH5.

The only open world racing game on Series X which supports the Logitech G920 steering wheel, pedals, and shifter is Forza Horizon 5. Other open world games such as The Crew Motorfest and The Crew 2 support the wheel and pedals but not the shifter.

Racing wheels don't exactly give you an advantage in those racing games other than they are fun to use. I don't personally own one, but I use to go and play them when they were set up at the tech conventions my school's business class used to take us to
like back in 2010.

I feel like they are just too pricy for something a controller can do just as well if you're confident enough in your skill.

I'd say go for it of you want one, or save up for a really good one...like one of those chair rigs that are $1000 lol. You may also be interested in looking up how people have turned their Xbox Adaptive controllers into racing game rigs, those are interesting.

Hi OneDayOldPizza,

Apparently there is a problem with the wheel and pedals, you have to unplug and replug in the wheel basically everytime you start the game up.

That was tested with a logitech G920 though.
