Login with my Profile not possible

Hi there

my prob ist, that i actually cannot login with my Profile anymore. I got a new Xbox Gold membership with that profile, but as soon as the (correct , as i write with this account here) password is entered, there is a cursor sign for short and then aborts.

There is NO message, saying incorrect pw or sth like this. It just happens nothing.

NAT Type is OPEN, password CORRECT.

Please help!

Childs profile

This may or may not have been discussed somewhere, but I'm just trying to figure out if I can bring my son's profile from 360 over to the xbox one. He did not have a live acct so there isn't any email or login info
for him. If it isn't possible I've tried to create a profile as well on the xbone and I keep getting prompted to create or login with a microsoft acct profile. I do not want to create an email for a 8yr old. What are my options?

 

Backwards compatibility question

You can login, make sure you are logged into a profile on your xbox one, then hit the back and start (view and menu) buttons in x360 mode... That brings up the option to sign into profiles and download profiles.

Even if you use another xbox 360 it should let you login to a xbox 360 profile and it should just say it was last signed in on another system. I'd make sure you are signed into a profile, if you are trying splitscreen stuff make sure your friend signs into his xbox one profile before then signing into his xbox 360 profile.

Awkward, but it works. Been busting up borderlands splitscreen in bc for a couple days.
