Login to xbox live account issue when starting ark survival evolved

I downloaded ark survival evolved from the windows store and it self installed. When I try to launch it from the store or desktop, I get to the start screen with the start button and in the top right it says not signed in. I click start I then get the signing in to xbox live please wait, a couple seconds later I get a message that says unable to sign in to xbox live please check your network connection and try again. Ive tried reinstalling the app, also launching from the store under various family member accounts and I always get the same message. Running windows 10. My son installed on his computer and it works fine. I also have it on xbox one and it works fine. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks for any help.

It could be that you are having issues connecting to the Xbox Live from your PC. Follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings (Windows 10 Settings).

2. Go to Gaming.

3. On the left bar, select Xbox Networking.

4. Let the test run.

If you see a Teredo related error, press Fix. Don't restart your PC! After that, run the test again. If you now get a NAT Type (Open, Moderate or Blocked) try to run your game.

Ark Survival Evolved is a full game, and Ark Extinction is an add-on. Your title and description are contrary to each other and so I'm confused.

If you purchased Ark Survival Evolved then you should be just able to play it. However, if you purchased Ark Extinction then you must also purchase Ark
Survival Evolved.

Sorry , but sometimes I had to cancel and start reinstalling Ark Survival Evolved.

When it comes to grinding and surviving, ARK: Survival Evolved is my go to game to play.
