    Hi,

    I'm not sure if anyone else is having the same problem as me, but I have recently been prompted with the new Minecraft launcher for pc, like most Java players I suspect. I have downloaded it from the store and loaded it up. On opening it up, it has asked for my Microsoft account, as done before in the old launcher.



    I usually log in with my new Microsoft account (made a new one just for the migration) and play as normal with my Java account linked to it. And when I want to play on the window's edition, I use my Xbox account on my PC (a separate one).



    However, with my migrated account, I only play Minecraft on it and play on my pc under a different Xbox account and are signed in to my pc with another. So when I sign in to the new Minecraft launcher, it logs me out of my Xbox account and into the new one.

    Is there anyway in which I can use my migrated account as normal to play Minecraft without being logged out of my Xbox on my pc? As I play most of my other pc games with my Xbox account and have achievements and all my friends on it, I would like to play Java Minecraft and speak to my friends in a party with my Xbox account without it switching. I know the new launcher is not necessary to play Minecraft Java. However, as the way things are going, it may not be the case.

    New minecraft launcher clashing with my xbox account

    So whenever I log onto Minecraft with my Microsoft account it logs me into Xbox/Microsoft related apps with that account, that’s just a bug? I hope they resolve it or change it in some way so I can login to a different account on Xbox then a different account on Minecraft without having to keep signing in and stuff. Also how do I reinstall the old Minecraft launcher or find it on my pc, I deleted it after installing the new one

    How to Disable Auto Login for Minecraft Launcher

    Hello,

    Yes it is in Minecraft launcher, but it was associated with Xbox account, currently the auto login feature also applies to Xbox apps I have installed on my computer, therefore it is both a issue with Minecraft launcher and Xbox, it is kind of also a Microsoft account issue since my Minecraft account was my Microsoft account.

    Remove the game and launcher, from Mojang website download launcher and install. In the launcher login with your Microsoft account, after that you will be able to download Minecraft and Java Edition through the launcher.

    Remove the game and launcher, from Mojang website download launcher and install. In the launcher login with your Microsoft account, after that you will be able to download Minecraft and Java Edition through the launcher.

    Since you were able to check both Launcher and uninstall, reinstall the app multiple times. Kindly sign out on Xbox App, Microsoft Store App, and Minecraft Launcher then restart your PC before signing back in.

    On your launcher, make sure to use "Microsoft Login"
