Login to Microsoft store with business account

Hi,

This issue originally stems from not being able to logon to the minecraft launcher since the migration to microsoft account.

The new launcher uses the microsoft store to logon, which is fine.

The problem is that the account i have attached to minecraft is a "work or school" account and for some reason i can't logon to the microsoft store with the business account. Essentially it's just a family owned domain which is joined by azure ad.

My question is therefore if there is anyway to bypass the limitation of the store to logon with the "business" account and therefore being able to logon to the games launcher.

I would really hate to be forced to create a new microsoft account, that can logon to the store, change the minecraft account to use the new account and so on since this would just create confusion later on if we were to forget the password or something.

We understand that you are trying to login to the Microsoft Store with an Azure subscription active to personal Microsoft account. We consider your request as wonderful idea, but it appears to be inapplicable. Any account with a customized email domain tied to an Azure Subscription is now deemed a corporate email account, thus you won't be able to login to any consumer sites or applications with it.

We have thoroughly checked our resources in response to your query, and it appears that you will need to create a new account in order to continue playing Minecraft and sign in to the Microsoft Store. As your account is deemed commercial, you can try contacting Minecraft Support and requesting assistance.

I have not tried resetting my password as there is nothing wrong with my login details. It simply wont accept even my email when i try to login. I CAN access microsoft store, microsoft windows account, xbox app, minecraft launcher with microsoft login. These work fine.

Minecraft.net and microsoft login website do not even accept even my email, as it refreshes the page when i click next.

I can sign into microsoft store app on windows PC. However, it does not require a password it requires windows PIN number. Microsoft store uses microsoft account settings to login, and PIN to verify user.

Did you tried to logout and login again with your account in the Microsoft Store?

If you bought a game in the Microsoft store you can login in to you account and download it like that

Be sure to login your correct account from the Xbox app and the Microsoft Store.

Launch the Xbox app and sign in with the Microsoft account you use for Xbox.
Select your gamerpic, then select Settings.
Under Account, select Change my Microsoft Store account.
Follow the on-screen instructions and sign in to the Store with the Microsoft account you used to purchase the game.
