Login problems Xbox PC app (again)

Hey guys,

I have a huge problem. After my email adress got hacked, I changed it to a serious provider. This new adress is now my windows10 account email adress. Now there's the problem, that I can't login into the Xbox App for Win10. Every time I get the login screen,
choose my email adress (which is correctly listed), type in the password and get to the start screen of the app. In Microsoft Edge (Browser) this works and I cant log in into my User account (both, Xbox.com and microsoft.com). Has anyone an idea how to deal
with this [Mod Removed - Profanity]? Several reinstalls didn't help.

The following steps were working for 1 download of Halo MCC. After finishing the download I was starting HMCC but the MS store popped up to download sth else for this game (can't say what, there were no message with details). Now Problem exists as it was
before. Login runs through but App doesn't recognize me. Changing alias is not possible (only once a week).

Did you update the email address on your microsoft account?

Sorry, maybe I confused you. I'm already signed in with my one (and only) Microsoft Account. I thought that signing in with a local account could reset the Login for the Xbox app. Thanks in advance for your patience.

Thank you for your reply. I guess I don't understand you. You mean in windows settings? I created a local account for windows but if I want to sign in with it, the app crashes.

Hi Flitzp

You need to login to Windows with a Microsoft Account, which in turn will automatically use that account to login to Windows apps, like the Xbox (Beta) app. If you're using a Windows 10 device, you may have signed
in without using your Microsoft account. When you follow the steps below, you'll be able to see which account you're currently using. To sync your settings and Microsoft Store purchases across all your devices, you'll need to sign in with your Microsoft account,
not a local user account with no administrator privileges.

Select the Start button, then select Settings > Accounts > Your info (in some versions, it may be under Email & accounts instead).
Select Sign in with a Microsoft account instead. You'll see this link only if you're using a local account. Note that if you see Sign in with a local account instead, you're already using your Microsoft account.
Follow the prompts to switch to your Microsoft account.

Once you confirm that you are logging in to Windows with a Microsoft Account, try logging into the Xbox (Beta) app or the Xbox Console Companion app.

Hello Flitzp,

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand having issues with signing in. Sounds like the old email and new one are conflicting with each other. We recommend to go to sign in options as administrator, under other user you will add your new email. Once
you sign in with that one it should sign you in all apps and store. Also, other option make sure you re signed out of all apps and web pages. Then sign in with new email. For example if didn't sign out of Xbox beta app and sign in store with new email it will
most likely fail as there two sign in emails.

Just log in again, you can't remove the login screen from the Xbox app, sometimes you log out automatically form the xbox app for Windows PC, just login again.
