Login loop using authenticator

Hi. I cant login with my account in Windows but into my mail account. I seem to be stuck in some kind of login loop. I select my correct authenticator code but it just kicks me back out. Before that I used a password and it told me to put in my code that I should receive by email but nothing ever came. Something seems wrong with that email account.

1. Network Reset:

- On the login screen, click the Network icon in the bottom-right corner. Try disconnecting from and reconnecting to your Wi-Fi network, then attempt to log in again.

2. Safe Mode:

- You can try booting your device in Safe Mode to see if that allows you to sign in:

- Hold down the Shift key while selecting Restart from the power icon.

- In the Troubleshoot menu, go to Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.

- After the restart, select 4 or F4 to boot into Safe Mode.

3. Reset Your Device (Last Resort):

- If the issue persists, you may need to reset your PC. Please note this will erase all files and apps.

- On the login screen, select Power > Restart while holding the Shift key.

- In the Troubleshoot menu, select Reset this PC and follow the prompts.

My problem was solved. As it turns out, I found that two-factor authentication has to be off in order for this to work properly. It will simply present the login loop if two-factor authentication is present on the parent account. Seems this might be similar
to the TOS acceptance problem a while back.

Your best bet to avoid this login loop is to refresh your account authentication through a web browser. On your phone or a computer, go directly to the official Microsoft Account website (account.microsoft.com) and sign in with your Xbox email and password. Be sure to complete any security actions it asks for, like entering a verification code sent to your phone/email or accepting new terms. Once you have successfully logged in on the website and cleared any pending prompts, your account's authentication will be refreshed, which should fix the login loop and allow you to sign in to the Xbox mobile app successfully.
