    Recently changed the player tag on Xbox One. After that, I can not log into my profile on the Xbox 360. It reports that the input is not possible. Please, help.

    Just brought home my Imperial Edition, waited for it to install completely and all I can get is a login failed screen.

    Anyone else getting this?

    Hello Korfall,

    Sorry for the issue with the account. What it sounds like is the account was an offline profile on the Xbox 360. When you signed into the Xbox one it created a live profile and now voided the offline profile. Especially if it is the same email on both accounts
    then that is for sure what happened. Only way around this is to delete the offline profile off the 360 and download the now live account onto the 360. You may lose all progress that was done on the offline profile, due to it not being activated to live correctly.

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to play with your newly updated gamertag.

    It's more than likely because the account needs to be redownloaded from Xbox Live now that it has been updated on the Xbox one. If and when you get a chance, I would remove your account and then redownload it as outlined on our support page entitled

    How to add or remove an Xbox profile on Xbox 360.

    Give those steps a shot and let us know how that helped.

    Hi there Bob! Christopher here, an Xbox fan and been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. I have had the same issue before, unfortunately the solution is not fast. You have to contact PlayStation support so they can unlinked every third party account from you PSN account! In my case it took days for them to help me, unfortunately.
