Login Error for over a week! Help!

My husband has been locked out if his Microsoft account for over a week. We have chatted with multiple ppl at Microsoft and no one can help. This is the account we use for Xbox. We have reset the password and recovered the account many times.

This is the error we get, along with red writing saying "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later. The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again."

Ours finally magically started working after almost a month of frustration. We talked to so many different people at Microsoft. They all said they would follow up and never did. We did have one woman tell us it was a server issue and they were working on it.

I hope you get a resolution soon.

It's not really an app. It occurs on any browser and his Xbox when he tries to login. We have tried doing it from different locations and different networks. However I am able to login on my Microsoft account on all these places.

Same Issues here too. I am trying to enable XBOX Account for my two children.

Successful created My (Parent) Account and two (child) Accounts at microsoft.com. Logins etc... all working as expected... With and without 2FA Setup enabled..
Family Setup also successful enabled...
Tried different Logins with Safari, Google Chrome, etc...
With and without 2FA enabled
With / Without Cache...
Cookies deleted,
Connection over VPN from different Locations... (Switzerland, Germany)
Connection without VPN, without Firewall Rules
Without DNS Blacklist filtering

What i try to achieve:

Setup Microsoft Accounts for me (Parent) and my two children (9 and 10 yrs) ==> DONE
Setup XBOX Accounts for me (Parent) and my two children ==> DONE for me, FAILED for my two children
Migrate Minecraft Mojang Accounts to XBOX Microsoft Accounts ==> DONE for me, NOT YET STARTED for my two children

The error occurs after the step in which I, as a parent, have to confirm the activation of the XBOX account for my minor children.

After clicking "Next", there is an "endless" loop until the following message appears (translated from german):

The sign-in server for Microsoft accounts detected too many retries for authentication. Wait a moment and try again.

Hi Rae,

Just wanted to touch base as it’s been a little while. How did the most recent situation with support go? Is everything sorted and resolved now?

I understand that even with the escalation, there unfortunately hasn’t been any official response from Microsoft on this.
