Logging out of Minecraft Windows 10

From my research, here are the steps you'll need to take to log out of Xbox Live in Minecraft for Windows 10. It involves modifying an options text file:

- Press Windows Key+R to open the Run dialog, then copy and paste the below address and press Enter:

%localappdata%\packages\microsoft.minecraftuwp_8WEKYB3D8BBWE\localstate\games\com.mojang\minecraftpe

- Open the options.txt file and change these two variables to the below values:

game_haseverloggedintoxbl: 0

game_haschosennottosignintoxbl: 1

Save the file, then try running Minecraft again. You should be logged out now.

incorrect, i do this for my kids all the time

1. log into the kids account on the pc.

2. open the store and log out of the windows 10 store and log into it with your account.

3. go to download history and download minecraft (if already installed on the main profile this will be near enough instant.)

4. once done log out of the windows store and log out of windows, log back in to the kids account and he can then play minecraft all he wants.

I have 5 kids and they all use my minecraft purchase on their pcs with their own accounts. as long as they are a part of your microsoft family all is good.

I own minecraft "windows 10 edition" on xbox one but isn't availabile on windows 10....

There is no "Windows 10 Edition" on the Xbox One.

On the Xbox One, there was a "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" but that has been replaced with just "Minecraft".

As the others already said, "Minecraft" is not a Play Anywhere title, so owning "Minecraft" on the Xbox One, doesn't give you "Minecraft Windows 10 Edition" on the PC.

However, if you own Minecraft Java Edition on PC, you can log into your Mojang Account on PC, and can get a code for the Windows 10 Version.

I am confused by your answer. I have never logged in to Xbox Live. I simply click on Minecraft icon on Windows 10 to start to play. The version is Minecraft Starter Edition for Windows 10.
