Logging Off Microsoft account

Hey im quite new to windows 8 and im real lost with it, I decided to play the mahjong it came with, it asked me to sign in an microsoft account so I signed in the one I use for my mail. until a bit later I realized I should have used the microsoft account
I have with my xbox live account to record my progress and all, but the game wont give me any option to log out, I even unistalled the game and installed it back in and it still has the other account there. can anyone help me out?

Xbox One Achievements won't pop...

I saw that error yesterday when I was trying to access my achievements. I just logged off and logged back on and the error went away.Click to expand...

As in logged off your account or a hard reset of your console? Cause I did the latter and that didn't work. So maybe I'll try relogging into my account.

I hate hackers.

Turn off the wireless and see if you can log in. The issue here is that we can't log in if Live is down, but if there's no internet connection at all on the console, you can log in to your account offline.

All of the apps on your Windows 8 machine will use whatever account is used to sign into the computer. You will want to logout of the account you're currently using and then log into Windows 8 using the account that is associated with your Xbox Live account.
Then, when you launch the game, it will automatically log you into your Xbox Live account.

I had the same problem and turning off the firewall didn't help. The problem was that I was logged in with another Microsoft account in the Microsoft Store. Make sure you are logged in with the same account as you are in the XBOX App (if you use it)

log into microsoft account, click subscriptions link and turn off auto renew, also option to cancel, easy as can be.

Sorry to hear about that, however, when you play on iPad - when that specific "Microsoft account" logs in to your iPad, and purchase things off the Marketplace, you will be charged through your Apple account/Apple store. So technically, the purchase would not reflect on the Microsoft account that was used. And at this point, there's no way to confirm which account logs in to your game to purchase off items unless you try and check all your accounts one by one.

Hi,

I do not have this issue anymore, as it turned out, I just didn't properly log off the Xbox app. After logging off there, it stopped pre-determining the account I was logging into. So, make sure you properly log off both Microsoft Store AND the Xbox App as well. You might have a different issue, but this worked for me. Sorry if I couldn't be of any help.
