Logging in to a different xbox profile when using the right email

Do you know the email and password for both accounts?

I ask because each Xbox profile is linked to a different account. You cannot have two Xbox profiles on the same account. Any chance you are signing in using a different account?

G'day SettlingSinger9! The Gamertag you're posting with here appears to be a fresh profile - Generic name, Free membership, no Gamerscore, etc.
Is this the same account that you're using to log in on your console?

If it is, then you may have the incorrect email address when trying to log in on the console. Is the email field already filled in when you are prompted to sign in on the console? And if so, is that the same email you used to log in here or do you use a different
email than what's already filled in?

Ok, tell me if I'm getting this right... When I first setup my computer, I used my main email account, then when I tried to log in on the xbox it automatically logged me in with that Xbox account. The thing is, my main Xbox account I use is under a different
email. Since there's apparently no way to just log out of the xbox app, you're saying I have to create a whole new user for my PC, just so I can use my main Xbox account on the app?

You cannot tranfer game progressions / data between accounts, you have to log in into the other account and then you can change the email associated with your xbox profile to use it with a different email if that suits you

You can log into your xbox profile on a PC. Sign into microsoft.com and go you your profile. To the right of your email that's associated with your profile there is an option to "manage how you sign in" click on that and it will redirect you to log in again and confirm that it's you, once you have done this it gives you the option to add or remove an email address. This should fix your problem, however it would probably be wise to change both so that there is no confusion when you go to log into the account you want to use. Hope this helps!
