Alright, let me preface this by saying I suck at Call of Duty and I'm not 100% familiar with it other than a rudimentary estimate of the serverside affairs based on what little I did retain from networking classes and what the debugger spat out on the PC
    versions.

Right, now that's out of the way.

So I decided to just play some Black Ops 3 for a bit since we upgraded our internet package for better stability (our building has its own copper running to each apartment so there is no problem with an overloaded hub). So far I have had zero issues with connectivity
or anything of that sort, at least until a few minutes ago. I was playing in a match of search and destroy and, rather surprisingly (given my intro) I was actually not doing as bad as I usually do. There were a few instances that had me thinking "that's a
load of [expletive]", but for the most part things seemed normal. Welp, right at the part where I was supposed to kill the guy, it did the thing that usually happens with the host is migrating. After that, it said I was kicked off the Call of Duty Black Ops
3 servers and my Xbox said "bye, d00m". At this point, I did a cursory scan of the LIVE terms to see what rule I might have broken (I have seen this on video before, usually this means you're banned, burn your Xbox as well as whatever money you may have spent
on it, and go [expletive] yourself). No hits. I signed back in no problem and I connected back to the game servers without issue.

    My question is:

What the hell happened? Nothing disconnected, the router didn't have any lapse (hell, it has custom firmware flashed to it based on the original firmware source code to patch stability issues), the modem is only a few days old and has (so far) passed all stability
tests I've thrown at it, the Xbox didn't even go offline, I was just signed out at random. Is there a setting to sign out after X number of hours of gameplay or was there a new rule that I was not made aware of in any of the updates that LIVE is not shy about
acquainting you with? I'm genuinely curious. If this is a problem serverside, can someone hurry up and at least address that?

    :)

    Randomly being logged out

    hello,

I purchased an Xbox one the other day and I am randomly being logged out of my Microsoft account. It will happen a couple times throughout a playing session. I changed the password on my account and still no luck. I am not talking
about an xbox live connection but the account on the Xbox one itself.

COD uses peer to peer hosting, meaning that the games are hosting on the other Xboxs, if one drops then it will promote another Xbox to the main peer if that fails the whole game may time out.
