Logged into XB live but...

For some reason Metal Gear Solid 5 can not sync my saved data and it can't log into its servers. I noticed the server status right now says that there are XBL core services issues, would that be what's causing Metal Gear not to connect to its server? Konami's
server status showed that it was operating normally, so I'm kinda of at a loss as to what i need to do now to be able to play. Even when i chose to play offline it freezes at its loading screen. I performed a hard reset but they same issue persists. Any info
would be appreciated

Game sharing?

A lot of people seem to get this part confused. Just because you signed into his XB and you see your sign in details under profiles, ot does make game sharing work that way. You will need to go into his setting on his Xb while logged into your name and designate
his Xbox as your home console... and he does the vice versa with your console.

I'm trying to log into my sons xbox. We got him xbox live for xmass.

same here... paid $59 to activate online.. yet unable to login into xbox live from xb console.. tried download profile but got an error

Everything runs thru your live account and until the get those accounts fully connect and accessing the rest of the game servers...having the same issue with world of tanks....so its not you....they are working on it....just gonna take some time...:-(

It's not effecting everyone though. I've got friends nearby who are having no problems.

the outage will affect others differently, some willn't be able sign in, some willn't be able to join multiplayer etc.

but the outage is a big factor why.

Thanks for the answer. But as I wrote in the above posts, I do not have at my disposal console xb 360. Therefore, there is no way to log in to my account on the console xb 360. Until that time, the so-called download queue of xb 360 was not filled up,
content with backward compatibility xb 360 intended for xb 1 was downloaded to the console xb 1 x without any problems.
