Logged in to Xbox Live, Couldn't Access More Content

I turned on my Xbox 360 and connected to Internet, so I tried to access my account and successfully logged in to Xbox Live. But after going back to main menu, I can't access more content such as searching to Bing, watching movies online, downloading apps
like YouTube, can't even browse through IE and listen to music online. I want a solution, please?

Using XBOX DLC on someone else's console

You are partially correct atrocity 88. If you bring the console to her house you will be able to play on it BUT since she doesn't have internet, you will not be able to log into Xbox Live to access any of your DLC from your console.

You have to have an internet connection and be logged in to Live to access the DLC from your console. See this article for more information

Selling xbox one question

My understanding is that you get 2 licences, one for the Hardware and one for your live account.

The one which is attached to your live account means that if you go to someone else house log into there Xbox, you get access to your games until you log out.

The Hardware licence is attached to your Xbox and anyone who logs on even a second buyer.

That being said, the reason I stated that it is attached to your live account is that you would want to do a Factory reset? I think if you do that, you may have issues re-downloading the content initially without logging on using the user licence first. I'm not sure though and am not factory resetting my console to find out.

Just as a heads up, I would not just delete your account from the Xbox before selling it, I would do a factory reset and clear the cache. Maybe that's just me being paranoid.

On Apr 3 there was a service alert going on with the xbox live. Estimating the time you have posted this request I think it corresponds with the service alert.

Can you tell us if the situation persists even now?

If you transfer the DRM rights to the new console, the account that was used to purchase the game will need to be logged into the LIVE service to be accessible on any other console.

My wife and I have multiple consoles, and what we do is purchase all of our content on the console in the living room, that way everyone has access to all of the purchased content. If my wife wants to play any of her content, all she needs to do is log into
her console in the bedroom and her stuff is right there. Hope I didn't make that more confusing than it needs to be.

I can't connect to xbox live from xbox 360.

No any particular error code, just a generic message about a problem while accessing.

Xbox live status says is all fine.

It happened about 1 hour ago, I was logged in, then got logged off and I couldn't connect anymore.

If you log onto your sons console and set this as your home console, then any person can use the content downloaded onto it. This also applies to Xbox live, only you will need to purchase it and then any user on the home console has access.

Only you will have access to the content on your console, and it can't be used to play Downloaded content when offline.
