Log in to facebook account with Xbox One

This is what I get when I try to log to Facebook on my Xbox One

URL Blocked: This redirect failed because the redirect URI is not whitelisted in the app’s Client OAuth Settings. Make sure Client and Web OAuth Login are on and add all your app domains as Valid OAuth Redirect URIs.

After spending days on the internet looking for a solution, my best option is to sell my Xbox and get me a PS4. but I want to try this last post.

UP-DATE and Fix

Microsoft needs to fix a problem that's cause by the Xbox One its not Facebook,

Quick and easy fix...….

I downloaded the XBOX App and log in with the same account I use on my Xbox One.

Then go to Setting, Under the General Tab you will see Link to Facebook. and that's it.

To confirm that this worked after I link my account on my mobile device I go to the settings on my Xbox One then under account Tab click on linked social accounts and Boom my status is showing that I'm linked to Facebook.

I wanted to up-date this Hoping it helps other with same issue. Thanks everyone God Bless.

Thanks for the clarification! I was assuming it was through edge.

I'd do a search of the forums for 'facebook link' rather than login. There seems to be a few times this has popped up for users and different things have fixed it.

One candidate I'm seeing is privacy settings

Having said that... the one solution most people come up with is linking the account on windows 10 first, and the xbox side of your account follows suit.

You making this question even more harder. I'm in California and No VPN. and no I cant type the URL when I try to link my Facebook account. on the Xbox it self, If I open Microsoft Edge and manually type Facebook.com it works
fine I get to log in and everything works. But when you go on Xbox settings + Linked Social accounts + (here you get 3 options) link Facebook/Twitter/ or Discord.

as soon as I click link Facebook I get the error message about the URL Block, Its like a pop-up without URL cant edit it in any ways

Little more information I might ask for as I can't recreate the same issue...

which country are you accessing facebook from? Are you possibly using a VPN? are you typing in the facebook url yourself or are you linking to it from an email or some other source?

Steps to try: Hard reset of the xbox - hold power button until the xbox powers down and try again.
