Log in error 0x80070102

Xbox wont log into any of the accounts registered on there, I put the password in it comes up with a loading circle but then just takes me back to the homescreen without actually logging in, ive tried restarting the thing and also turning it on and off properly
but nothing is working

Connected to the internet but I cannot connect to Xbox Live

I keep getting 0x80070102 error code, wont let me log into xbox one so cant play some games getting annoyed now

Sorry you're having issues signing in. Try doing the following to resolve this.

Double-tap the Xbox button on your controller to bring up the guide.

Scroll down and select Settings.

Select Restart console and then Yes to confirm.

After your console has restarted, try signing in again.

If that doesn't work try removing your profile by following this link, and then adding it back.

Hi, my 9 yr old son is having the same problem, I'm clueless but trying to sort the problem so please bare with me. If i remove his profile and then add it back will he loose anything? Also i have a profile and we cant sign into that one either? He did manage
to sign in twice yesterday but only after trying around twenty time and now he cant get signed in again!

ps. Would very slow broadband affect sign in? ours is poor but has never been a problem as far as i know up to now?

Provided the console is connected to the internet, all your saves and settings are saved to the cloud. So you should have no issues removing and adding a profile back if you're connected to the internet.
