Locking account on another device

Your friend should not have access to your account. sharing account information is a violation of the code of conduct so you are putting yourself at risk for being banned if that is the case. If they do, you should change your password. Once you change your
Home setting, it will remove that from their console.

Keep in mind the Home setting is only meant to be used on your own console.

As it says, your console has been permanently suspended so, if you try to access the game from that console, certain features will be locked, such as the auction house, Forzathon shop, online racing etc.

However, if you use a different device to play, such as a PC or another console etc, then you will be able to access the online content as it's the device, not the account, that is banned.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have questions on locks. Unfortunately, there is no information on these. Most common cause is logging in multiple times quickly across different devices. For example if you are logging in and out
quickly on two different consoles this could lock the account. Another is spamming messages/emails.

Using another device, kindly go to Microsoft account | Sign In or Create Your Account Today – Microsoft then try to log in with the account that you are trying to access on your Xbox console. If you are still prompted with an error, kindly provide us here with a screen of the error message you got.

Progress is locked to the account that made it. It is not possible to move progress from one account to another
