Locked out of xbox account and my recovery forms keep being denied

I recently tried logging into my Xbox account and found that it had been locked and required me to verify it was me using a phone number which no longer exists.

As that was impossible, I tried filling out a recovery form which has been denied multiple times and I have no additional information to add to it.

I am now unable to use my Microsoft/Xbox account which has all my games, progress and purchases on.

I am also unable to use the online support feature as I cannot log into my account, and the virtual bot did not solve my problem. I also couldn't find any phone number to call or any email address.

A possible reason for my account being locked is that I was living in America for a year and used my account on another Xbox there and the problem occurred when I tried logging in back in the UK. However, I am unsure if that is the reason it's just my only guess.

Is there any way to get my account back, as I just purchased a new Xbox and want to use the games that I have already paid for and use my Xbox Live account etc.

I have filled in every possible section on the recovery form and yet it is still being rejected.

Xbox support is not working because:

1. the virtual bot is useless for this specific issue

2. I cannot have a call with someone as I need to sign into my account prior to the call which I obviously can't do

3. there is no email address to contact

I am still looking for other ways to contact someone, however, this forum is the only thing I've found so far.

There is nowhere on the recovery form to actually explain my situation. It is just for my details.

If you have two step verification enabled where it sends a verification code to your phone number than unfortunately the recovery form wont work for you. It says so right on the form.

That being said when you first setup 2 step verification it would have provided you with several backup codes (meant for this exact sort of situation) and it would have told you to save those codes in a safe place.

Did you save those backup codes? If you did then you can enter one of those in place of the code it says it is sending to the phone number. If you didnt save those codes then unfortunately your account would be completely unrecoverable. Those backup codes are your absolute last resort for regaining access to an account in this sort of situation.

They refuse to help me over the phone and the only way online is the recovery form which keeps getting denied because the email on the account is an internet service provider. It makes no sense. They are thrives and scammers

Sorry to hear that you're not able to recover the account. Unfortunately if the recovery form is denied you need to keep trying with different but accurate info.
