    Locked out of (xbox 360) account


    I have an account on an old 360 and trying to port it to my newer console (series s) but I no longer have access to the email on the account and I forgot the password for it. I never used credit cards for it, always used gift cards, tried doing the online recover account survey and I never got an email back saying I failed or gained it back plus it been a full 48 hours. What else can I do? Is the account completely lost?

    Hi Derek,

    No I know what my email is, I just lost access to that email and therefore I cannot reset my password and let alone to my newer outlook email. The email I have on the old account is not a outlook account. I can also log into my account offline on my 360. Can’t do anything online because it does a security checkup. Like mentioned last time, I did not pay for gold with a credit card. I paid for gold with gift cards. If I give you the old email can you just change it for that account?

    I understand, what you can do is try to recover your email, accessing the email provider and following the recovery step that is provided.

    Region locked for Xbox 360 is locked from the account or locked from the console system?

    If Microsoft locked from account, I can migrate account. If Microsoft locked from console system that I use (NTSC-J)

    I will wait for the next free game with no region protection.
