    Trying to unlock my sons Xbox but it would appear I was a little protective when I first set up his Xbox. Does anyone have the unlock code for dash board 2.0.16547.0.

    Hi I purchased a used Xbox 360 console but was unaware that it had a parental code, now with certain games it requires a code, how do I reset it because I cant get hold of the previous owner unfortunately. please assist.

    If you are under 18, it requires a parental account. If you go to the console and try to sign in, it will show the parental account address.

    The WLID/password it is asking for is the parent account, not yours.
