Discus and support Locked out of my account in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So basically, everytime I try and log into my account on Xbox 360, it says "Sorry, there's a problem with the credentials that you're using to sign in....     Locked out of my account


    So basically, everytime I try and log into my account on Xbox 360, it says "Sorry, there's a problem with the credentials that you're using to sign in. Go to https://account.live.com to fix the problem".
    I did this and when I attempt to log in to my account, it says "It looks like someone else might be using your account". So I click next, check the box with my recovery email, and click "Send code". Once I retrieve the code, and enter it into the box, and
    click next, I get an error which says "There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later.". So I tried again, same error shows up, and then tried again an hour later, the error shows again,
    and this has been happening for around a week now, if anyone has any possible solutions to this, it would be greatly appreciated, as this account is years old, with thousand of hours of gameplay on it, thanks!

    wow thanks for quick response! yea i don't know any of that. customer support keeps pushing up my account to get it unlocked but like 2 wrong tries and its locked again. do i have any hope for my gamertag?

    I've forgotten my password to my account and don't know my security question answer since i set my account up about 8 years ago.(this is a free account i just set up) My account has auto sub on therefore still charging my paypal. I went to paypal website
    and told them to quit sending microsoft money. 1. is auto sub a contract and i will still have to end up paying microsoft in the end? 2. can i get my old gamertag back?

    try rebooting your net work system . turn off all motem and routers for 5 min then turn your motem back on let it load for at least 3 min then turn on your router let it load for 3min them start your xbox then go to system settings in your box then do a
    network settings (test xbox live connection)

    Hey mate, sorry to hear about your troubles. Do you still have access to the email account tied to your Xbox Live profile? If so, there might be chance of changing your password and regaining access. If not, and you no longer have access to the email address,
    know the password, or know your security question, there isn't a whole lotta hope in getting access to your account. Auto Renew isn't a contract, and you're welcome to cancel it at any time. You won't be able to get a refund for time already purchased, but
    contacting PayPal and asking them to stop the automatic payments is probably your best option and there shouldn't be any repercussions from Xbox, aside from no longer being able to access Gold features, although it sounds like you haven't been able to regardless.

    well i believe the email was deleted along time ago or i just have no idea what it is. the policy is flawed because i have ways of identifying myself as the account holder but they would rather have me tell them an email that hasn't been used in years or
    might not exist anymore. i have had many problems in the past with xbox and its always been confusing nonsense that could have been easily settled if there wasn't so much bureaucracy involved. so i believe im going to get rid of my xbox and start over with
    playstation. half of my friends have done it because they were fed up with microsoft and have had no complaints since. so microsoft you just lost another customer.

    They have their own security policies in place, I understand that's frustrating but you'd need to give them the information that's on the file of that account and whatever else they ask for. I'm sorry that you're having to go through this but you won't be
    able to get access to that e-mail until you're able to do so.

    you could try requesting a call back from support although I'm not sure if they will be able to do anything without the co-operation of the owner of the email address.
