    Locked out of Microsoft Account


    Help my son is locked out of his microsoft Xbox account. His account was hacked a few weeks ago. We spoke with a Microsoft representative who walked us through changing the email, the password and setting up two-step verification. That was done successfully and he was able to play on his Xbox for the last two weeks. Suddenly a few days ago, our Microsoft account has been locked. We have not been able to get in touch with anyone from Microsoft to speak with them about the locked account. Obviously there was a violation while the account was hacked, but we have been given zero details as to why the account is locked and how we are able to rectify the situation. My son has years logged on this Xbox account and he is devastated. I’m looking for any assistance with how to get in touch with someone from the Microsoft security team. The customer service has been horrible in trying to get in touch with someone. Does anyone have any advice or Microsoft help me please!

    Yes I did, and they told me there is not a phone number for the Microsoft online security team. I just feel like I’m running in circles trying to figure out how to get in touch with someone to unlock this account. I was hoping that someone in the community forum might be able to help direct me or perhaps someone from the Microsoft security team monitors these forums to help get in touch with someone.

    Try resetting the password and double check it is the correct email.
