Locked out of Microsoft account for 30 day security and cannot renew Xbox live.

So my Xbox live Gold just expired last night and I attempted to renew the subscription today Well as I logged in, my outlook wanted to renew/change security because it's been a while and since I didn't remember(cannot recover) alternative email's password,
I tried to set up new email verification with my gmail since when I entered my phone # it stated that it is already linked with the account.

But when I did that, I cannot access to the page to renew Xbox Gold for 30 days because of security change. I can see my expired subscriptions and click on renew but it just takes me to a page that says that I require a security code to sign in. I also tried
to renew on the xbox but it's also having an error.

Now is there any possible way to over-ride this issue? I have the phone # I can verify for the email/microsoft account but I also do not remember the information to the old email. When I try to renew it puts me on that page and I've talked to several microsoft
support people who stated posting here is my best shot as they cannot override the 30 day security.

Please help.

Can't change account setting due to security change.

I am trying to cancel my auto-renew gold membership to Xbox live. However, when I attempt to do this, i am unable to due to my Microsoft account being locked out for 30 days due to a change in my security details. Anyone know how to help? Thanks.

Missed Payment and Cannot Renew.

I've recently missed a payment of XBOX Live Gold and the 'Microsoft Account' security has locked me out of several important things to cancel/turn off auto-renew and buy anew as it hasn't renewed yet even after having the money available.

The reason for the 30 days for your security and everybodys security that uses both Xbox Live and any other Microsoft sevices.

It is that informoation cannot be cahnged on your account withoiout checking that the info on your account is inaccessable by you.

Hi,

You'd need to update your security proofs before you attempt to change Microsoft Account e-mails. You aren't locked out of your account on the console for 30 days, you're locked out of making purchases, and editing payment/billing information on Xbox.com. During
the duration of the security proof change you should not be locked out of your account and should still be able to play on the console just fine.

Hey there CAPP360,

One important thing to note is that certain actions invoke a 30 day security lock out on accounts. While in this lock out you will be unable to make certain changes to accounts including changing the Microsoft Account. You will still be able to use the account
normally, you just can't make further changes for 30 days. This is to help protect accounts, if someone should steal your information and start to make changes there is a one-month window for Microsoft to be able to stop them before everything gets changed
and there is no more information on the account to prove you own it.

One of the things that can create the 30 day lock is one you create a new Microsoft Account. You can use the new MA to make a new gamertag, you just can't move an existing gamertag to the new MA.

Right now it certainly sounds like your nephews account itself may be in the 30 security lock, but of course it could also just be the new account you created.
