Locked out of Gamertag

Long story, 7-8 years ago I made an xbox live account

(Current to date gamertag is ll AJP96 ll)

3-4 Months ago I immigrated to New Zealand where I now reside and had decided to repurchase an Xbox One.

Unfortunetaly, my gamertag ll AJP96 ll needed to be verified by Microsoft.

With the account being 8 years old (and created with an old email my dad set me up as a teenager) I have barely a clue what my Security Question is and have subsuquently been locked out as the automated system refused to let me verify my account via texting
my listed phone number.

As a result, I am now using my spare xbox live account I made for friends to use when they came over and didnt have their own. (This acc is )

The automated system has now told me I can no longer try to guess my old credentials to the account I setup many years ago, which holds roughly 55,000 Gamerscore, and easily a £1,000 worth of downloaded games.

Even though I still have the phone number associated to my account the automated system wont let me verify via text and my bank details (which I used 100's of times on that gamertag) wasnt enough to verify that it was me either. If i'm not mistaken PsychoPully
was the original name of the account when I first made it.

TL;DR, can I get my account recovered and my gamertag (with 100's of purchased games on it) back in my hands? Or should I just go trade my Xbox Slim in for a PS4?

Locked out of Gamertag/WLID

Hello,

OK so the disk reader on my Xbox died, so I bought a new one and transferred the hard drive. I remembered my windows live ID, but not my daughter's password and now she cannot log into her gamertag. Unfortunately, her WLID is attached to an email account
that was deactivated and we can't remember the password or any of the security questions we set up when we made her account over 4 years ago.

Is there anything I can do to reactivate her gamertag?

Hi!

Are you getting any specific error or message when trying to change your gamertag?

Also, gamertags can be locked some time after they are "deleted". So if the tag was in use and then removed it may very well still be locked for anyone else to use.

There is no way of telling how long it will stay locked and Microsoft won't give out that info.

for a situation like this I would advise you to contact official Xbox Support by Phone (or Microsoft Support Chat) they are the only ones that might be able to assist in recovering the account.
