Locked out of Game Pass

So I'm trying to log in to Gamepass on my partner's PC. I have Gamepass Ultimate that I paid for & set up on my Xbox. When I try to log in on the PC it asks for a PIN. I've never previously set up a PIN using either Xbox or Windows Hello. So I went ahead set up a PIN using both & neither is working. I've changed both PINs several times and nothing works. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong & this experience is very frustrating. When I click "I forgot my PIN" it tells me to go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-In options which is the exact progression of options that Windows Hello offers which is why I don't understand why the PIN I set up there isn't working. Now I've entered the "wrong" pin so many times that it's telling me "The dictionary attack mitigation is triggered and the provided authorization was ignored by the provider." I don't know if that means it's finally recognizing my PIN as correct but I've entered the "incorrect" PIN too many times for it to work or if that's the automatic message after the PIN is "wrong" too many times. Please help.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble logging in to Gamepass on your partner’s PC. I can understand how frustrating that must be.

The PIN that it is requesting is likely the Windows Hello PIN, which is used to sign in to your Microsoft account on Windows 11 devices. If you have not set up a PIN before, then you may need to do so in order to log in to Gamepass on your partner's PC.

If you’ve forgotten your PIN and can’t access restricted console features, you can reset it by entering any 6-digit combination three times, then entering your Microsoft account password when prompted, and then selecting Make a new PIN.

If you get a request to enter a PIN that you forgot, you can enter an incorrect PIN multiple times, and the device will ask you for your regular Microsoft account password. Then simply sign in with that particular password instead of using the PIN.

If you can’t go beyond the sign-in screen, you can select Forgot my password and follow the instructions. You can also check if the Set time setting automatically is turned on in your PC’s Time & language settings.

If none of those options work, you can try to remove your Microsoft account from your PC’s Accounts settings, then go back to the Xbox app and sign in with the Microsoft account you just removed.

You can also try to reinstall the Xbox Game Pass app or login in the Xbox Companion App first.

If you continue to experience issues, you may want to try logging in to Gamepass using a different device to see if the issue is specific to your partner's PC.

Got another 14 day trial code from a friend. Entered it and same thing. Bout to be seriously upset if my 12+ year account is locked out of every digital game I own

look in the xbox memory or put the cd and reinstall the game's.

My xbox game pass trial expired and now I'm locked out of games i had purchased prior to the game pass. In my subscriptions, it says its unsubscribe. If I manage my game pass, it says its expired. I'm stuck

I think this happened to me once. If you actually own the game it might be worth giving a reinstall a try.
