Locked out due to not knowing old email password

Are you trying to login to the email account or to the Microsoft account its linked to?

For the email account, you'd have to go through whatever website that email is provided through for the password recovery and backup. Without knowing the email url, we can't provide you the link but if you just search 'email-website password recovery' on

I set up my microsoft / xbox account years ago under another email. I do not know that password and can't recover it because I don't have access to the email. Now, I am locked out completely, as the passkey was entered wrong 3x by my son, and it is prompting
me to put in my password for the email I used initially to set it up. I don't have this.

OK he forgot his password and his email he had was old and he couldn't log into it anymore. He went and tried to make a new password and the email is not going to his in box. We think he may have spelled the email wrong on his account creation and now he
can't log into it on the computer, and if his file is corrupted he will not be able to get a new download due to the account t info being wrong it's like he is locked out of his own account.

I'm afraid it's the password that's causing me problems, I know the email address. I've tried recovering the email password but can't due to lack of information.

Can the Xbox Phone Support give me the email password or are they only allowed to give out email addresses?
