lock the console with passkey

Hi all,

is it possible to lock my console waiting for the passkey?

as it is for windows CTRL-ALT-DEL...

my console asks for the passkey at the startup, but I would like to lock it even when it is already on...

Inappropriate Store access for children

So I went to Settings > Account

> Sign-in, security & passkey (This was set to Lock it down)

> Change my sign=in & security preferences > Customise

Save your password was set to Password not saved

Ask for my passkey to change settings was set to Passkey required

Ask for my passkey to make purchases was set to Passkey required.

So I signed out and I could still go to the store and watch

age inappropriate movie trailers.

Does passkey work on all consoles?

No, currently the
personal passkey only protects the profile alone. There is no passkey feature that locks out the entire console.

You could ask the person in charge of the console to set a passkey to lock changes to settings without the passkey. This would be the only way I know of to stop settings from being changed, and removing accounts is in settings. Here is a link on how to set

It would be a good idea to lock all purchases with a passkey. Here is a Xbox support page on how to set this up.

you need to login to the account that put the parental lock on it then go into setting look for a passkey or parental lock to remove it.

you can also set your account to Lock Down so it requires your password or you can set it to require Passkey before any settings can be changed and before purchases can be made.
