    I have moved from the UK to Germany, and so updated both my Microsoft account and my xbox location accordingly.

    As a result, I now see game prices in the Euro currency, but when I made my first purchase from the Microsoft Store (Jade Empire) it downloaded the game with German speech and German subtitles, even though my Xbox language is set to English (UK).

    As far as I know, because my payment details have a German address, I need to keep my account location as Germany, but how do I go about playing new store/marketplace purchases in English if the Xbox is ignoring my language settings when I purchase games
    from my new location?

    Just to clarify, did you recently set your language preference to English after installing this game? If so, can you test

    reinstalling     this game and then
    power cycle     the console to see if this will resolve the issue?

    Easy fix mate.

    Settings>

    System>

    Language and Location>

    Set all 3: Language, Location, and Spoken Language to English and United States.
