Location "Issues" with Battlefield Bad Company 2.

Hello!!

I, like most people, really want to download the Games With Gold release of Battlefield Bad Company 2 that is being distributed but I have this rather unusual problem...

I can't download it from my location.

Now, the thing I don't understand is why I'm getting this message. I live in France ( The actual France, not any of it's overseas regions... ) and get this issue, saying that it is unavailable in my location even though the account I'm using to download this
game has Gold and was made in France. The weirder part is that one of my French friends has this game.

I had this same issue with a previous game, Sleeping Dogs. Now with that game, neither I nor my friend had this game prior to it being released as a Game With Gold, yet he managed to download it from his French house in France, whereas I, in my equally French
house in France with my French internet connection, was not.

All I want to do is download Battlefield.

Is Battlefield Bad Company 2 banned in France?

If anyone has any idea how I am to fix this, then please share any info!

Possible Battlefield 3?

How is it a 100x better? Bad Company wasn't even the true Battlefield >.> PC absolutely dominates the consoles for Battlefield 3/BF2. Much bigger areas, much more intense graphics, effects and textures.

 

Well, the account you're posting with isn't a Gold member, so that could have something to do with it?

 

It should provent you from dl the game. Even you are a free member. It just mean you be charged 4 the dl.

In my original post, I said that I was using a Gold account to download the game. So me using a free account to post here, shouldn't (and couldn't) affect how my Gold account downloads a game (or rather, doesn't download a game).

This makes no sense whatsoever and, as I've stated just recently in this post, I am using a Gold account to download the game, not this one...

Has anyone else got any ideas?

 

Have you tried downloading it direct from this website, rather than your console?
