    Local Cache is full! stats and achievements are no longer being tracked - Pi Hole Help


    I have been having issues with this error message and while doing some research and asking a few friends i was pointed towards this. i believe that the Pi Hole i have installed on my network is blocking some of the domains that xbox live needs to fully function.

    Xbox Live
    This domain is used for sign-ins, creating new accounts, and recovering existing Microsoft accounts on your (confirmed by Microsoft)

    This domain is used for Xbox Live Achievements (confirmed by Microsoft)

    There are several domains discovered initially on Reddit 173 and /r/xboxone 108,
    which were also confirmed by Microsoft as being required by Xbox Live for full functionality.

    Achievements vs raspberry pi

    Recently I had an issue with my Xbox not being able to get achievements on my Xbox one games for about a month. I had tried every troubleshooting option that customer service had. As it turns out the issue wasn't my xbox it was a raspberry pi with pi-hole
    that had locked domains needed to acquire achievements and track them.

    If you own a raspberry pi this link

    [ Commonly Whitelisted Domains ]

    will have a list of all domains that xbox uses. If you are unable to change the pi-hole settings(for whatever reason) you can also manually set up an IP for your xbox to re-route around the pi-hole and gain full access to all domains that you need for your
    console. Hopefully this is helpful

    Achievements and game stats not being tracked?!

    I have not been able to unlock achievements in over a week and the Xbox One is no longer tracking my game stats. For example, I've put in over 6 hours in Far Cry Primal, yet my Game Hub tells me I have not done anything. As such, no achievements have been
    unlocked. The games themselves work just fine, but no stats are tracked and achievements cannot be unlocked. I have tried everything Support has suggested, like disconnecting and reconnecting to the router, deleting and reloading my profile, power cycling
    ect. No luck. I can no longer play on my Xbox One as nothing is tracked.

    Anyone have any idea what is going on? All help will be much appreciated.

    Unable to Clear Local Cache.

    The notification "The Local Cache is almost full, acheivements, stats and leaderboards will not be saved" notification began appearing, to which I then attempted the list found in my OP, which none of them were successful at resolving the issue, not even
    a partial factory reset. The Local Cache is now full, and I receive the notification that it is full and that achievements, stats and leaderboard data will no longer be saved.

    I am looking for a way besides a factory reset in which to clear the Local Cache so that I can continue playing my games offline.

    Why do certain achievements not unlock when met with the requirements?

    Sometimes it's down to certain achievements being buggy, so the progress is not properly being tracked. In my experience, this doesn't happen that often, and if it does happen, it's with new releases where the devs end up fixing it.

    Sometimes it's related to an attempt at blocking ads on the console, which inadvertently blocks the connection to the server used for achievement validation, e.g. using a Pi-hole, however, that would cause no achievements to unlock at all.

    Thank you everyone for your replies. I just received a notification that my local cache is almost full and that it may effect achievements tracking. So I'm currently clearing my cache. Hope this fixes my problem.

    Try reconnecting it to Xbox Live.

    That should solve it.
