Loading screen going so slow

I just tested it on my Series X and was able to load The Sims 4 in less than a minute, and other loading screens (like when travelling somewhere) were even quicker. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game, or does does the same issue occur with all games on your console?

I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue with The Sims 4.

Try performing a full power cycle on your console:

Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it completely turns off.

Unplug the power cord from the console. Wait 10 seconds.

Important: Wait at least 10 seconds. This step will reset the power.

Reconnect the power cord to the console.

Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

My Xbox is doing the same thing. It is slow to load the home screen, slow to load apps, slow to load games. Even when I turn it on now it is super slow to come on. This new update looks great, but something has got to be fixed. My xbox has never been this
slow to respond.

Just a note: The latest time this happened to me - I was playing Overwatch and the game was acting VEEEERY slow. I then notice that it was my Xbox OS that was acting slow (very slow loading home, not loading all tiles, not loading all friends). So i restarted
and it brought me to the xbox startup error screen again. I unplugged the power and external drive, plugged them both back in, powered on, and it's like nothing happened..... it's very weird

I still play on the original. It’s pretty slow to load any/all loading screens. Other than that, it runs pretty well.
