Loading saved games from Cloud?

So, I was playing Dragon Age: Inquisition on my dad's Xbox One until I finally purchased my own. I'm trying to load my saved games from when I played on my dads Xbox, but I can't figure it out. I found an FAQ saying that all data is automatically backed
up on the Cloud(if connected to Live, which I always was/am) but it doesn't say how to load it.

I assumed all I had to do was just open the game and it would be there, but it's not.

Halp.

Skyrim loads infinitely

It sounds like the saved game itself may be corrupt. If loading it from the menu, or from the in-game load screen causes possible issues with the game not loading, that's the most likely culprit. It's pretty rare for saved games to corrupt, but it can
happen, and each game handles it differently.

Hi Amb3r, yes that is correct, when you play a game on Xbox One it is automatically synced to the cloud. In theory once you change Xbox you should just open the game with the same account and while the game is launching it will sync with the cloud save.
Make sure you are logged in to the correct account and that you are connected to the internet. Let us know if that worked

Since you chose to get the save game from local disc, the cloud save is probably rewritten with the new save.

You should have chosen for the cloud save to load.

if you game save is on the cloud associated with your gamertag, when you go to load save data in the game, pick from the cloud instead of from physical memory of your console.

This is true, but the problem comes about when you save offline to your hard drive, it won't be synchronized to your cloud save. Meaning, if load the game later on, when back online, the cloud save, not the hard drive save will
be loaded. Overwriting your hard drive save.

You can stop the cloud save from loading, but you need to be paying attention when it happens.

yup, if he saves his game on the cloud, and load his profile on your console, and load anysaves from the cloud on to your console, and while you guys play and level up, he can then go back home and load that saved game on his own console.

Helo ! To access games saved in the cloud, you must be connected to the Xbox network when starting a game. If you disconnect from the network during a game, you can continue to play, but if you are not connected when you exit the game, the saved game will not load in the cloud. You must connect to the Xbox network in order to use the saved game in another console. When you connect to the Xbox network, the saved game is loaded into the cloud.
