    Loading Old Save Data


    I’ve had two issues with recent XB1 games loading old saves:



    Halo MC Collection: I made it deep into chapter 8 last night, but it resumed the campaign at the start of chapter 7 today.



    COD: Advanced Warfare: resuming the game resulted in an old save, losing about an hour of progress.



    In both cases, I’ve properly “saved & quit” the game. I also tried rebooting the console (10 sec power hold). I’m the only one that has an account of the console, it wasn’t moved nor did we lose internet. It’s a launch console and I have about 30 games
    and this hasn’t happened before. I use an external storage and have the latest system software.



    Any ideas?

    this explanation helped with my lost data i just had to go in to the docs capcom file and rename old gamer tag save data file to new gamer tag name all progress and saves now load no problem thanks

    Hello Johan,

    Looks as if when you went in the game before profile was loaded may have started and saved over the old save data. If this is the case there is no way to recover the old data. Cloud saves will overwrite each other for certain games. You may try Forza see
    if they may be able to pull it up somehow from the game server.

    Corrupted Minecraft World?

    Try logging in to her account on Xbox one than Download Minecraft, There should be a option to load up old worlds from the data saved on that account.

    Probably the save data in the cloud is overwritten.

    Sorry.

    Only thing to try is to delete your local save file (in my games and apps), reboot the game and when the system asks wich save to load, select cloud save.

    If you're lucky, you get your old save back.
