loading issues

Any thoughts as to why it consistently takes over 10 minutes to load this game? Internet speed and router are not issues as every other game works just fine.

Loading Issues

Does anyone have the issue of:

Turning on your Xbox and logging into your profile. Once you've logged in you then load your game. 90% of the time the game is fine but seems like every few days I get a CoD Ghost update that is 3GB yet I've downloaded it multiple times.

Anyone else with this issue?

 

The initial loading of your profile takes a bit because your Guardian is saved onto "the cloud" and can be loaded from any xbox. It may take a minute but it definitely shouldn't take 10 minutes.

Is it just the first time loading the game that takes that long or is it every time you go between missions and orbit?

 

Thanks for the reply Grimm. Understand the initial loading "normally" taking a minute or two.

10 to 12 minutes has become the norm from the time I push 'A' to play until my Guardian appears on the screen.

In between missions and orbit for both planets and the Crucible takes 3 to 5 minutes. Also, it takes a minute or two for my inventory to show up.

I've also noticed that during the waiting time the background music cuts out.

So far I have reformatted both hard drives, reloaded the DC and upgrades so that Destiny is the only thing on the hard drive but the only improvement is the amount of time it takes to sign into LIVE.

The last two times I tried to play I got as far as selecting the mission. At this point the xbox would

freeze. If I wasn't bald I'd be pulling my hair out.

The only thing I can think of would be to clear your cache and if that doesn't make any improvement I would delete the game and redownload/install it. Is the game on disc or is it Games on Demand?

Occasionally my inventory will take a minute to load too.
