Loading digital version after disc install

Hello,

My son installed a copy of Mortal Kombat using a disc. The diac got damaged so he decided to get a digital version. He downloaded and installed the digital vetsion however the system continues to request the (broken) disc. Any ideas ?

Uninstall the game then reinstall the digital version

Got any disc games installed which load without disc...without owning a digital version ?

All my games are on disc and must be in to work. Brilliant idea DRM, no fair not getting a code though.

Sorry to hear it. Is this a digital or disc version of the game?

If it's a disc based version then try installing the game while you are offline.

If it's a digital version then you may need to just go in and restart the install from time to time

Are you installing the disc version or digital version? If it is the disc version try disconnecting your console from the internet and performing the install. If you are downloading the digital version it will take a few hours to complete the install. As
far as it keeps queuing every now and again, I think that is a bug. I had that happen with my install as well
