    Loading Apps


    Hi

    I'm new to Xbox and I'm trying to install Amazon instant video on my xbox one x.

    I've loaded the app and when I launch it. It fails and want me to reload it.

    How can I fix this problem?

    Apps not loading

    contacted customer service..had 1 corrupted file....deleted it...cleared cache...deleted profile only....restarted console...downloaded profile again....then everything worked

    to find the corrupted file...go to settings hard drive and look for each possible file...the corrupted file has a warning sign.
    clearing cache - hard drive...press Y - did that 3 times

    Thanks for your response I tried uninstalling and the power cycle.

    But its not helping the problem.

    When I install the Amazon Prime Video App and the Hallmark App and launch them.

    I'm getting the error message We're having trouble with this

    try uninstalling and reinstall (0x80073cf0)

    Hello!

    Are you able to launch any games or apps? Or is it just these two that do not appear to be working?

    I haven't had problems with games just some of the Apps.

    And I have another App to add to the list. The VUDU App will not launch.

    Try clearing cache. Put your finger on the start button of the console for 10 seconds until it goes out.
    Then wait another 30 and turn it on again.
    After trying this, reinstall the game.
    It may work for you Loading Apps :D.

    I tried that it didn't help my problem. This is a new XBox and I'm new to XBox.

    Could I have something in my setup causing this problem?

    I'm sorry to hear there are issues with loading apps. I'd be happy to try and help.

    I noticed you haven't tried a
    soft factory reset
    . I believe this will help with restoring the operating system since the number of apps that can't load is starting to grow and the power cycle didn't seem to help. Make sure you follow the link I provided and have your account information
    readily available as you will need to re-add your account during the set up.

    Give that a try and let us know if it helps!

    Mine is also loud but when it loads norm stops when playing games or loading up an app but once the app it loaded it starts again.

    Hi Bass,

    Thanks for coming to the forums with the issue of apps not loading. We recommend to first try a

    power cycle
    of the Xbox console. This happens to fix a lot of issues most times, as the Xbox just needs a fresh reboot. If it continues to do this afterwards, make sure there are no current updates pending for any apps. Go to my games and apps>under updates.
    If still continues we recommend a
    soft factory reset
    of the Xbox console. Make sure to select, reset while keeping games and apps. This will remove your profile, so make sure you know the email/password for the accounts on the console. You will not lose any save data as the data is all
    saved to the cloud automatically.
